I texted Marie, my friend who’s basically a culinary genius, a frantic "HELP!" within seconds she replied “Prends la plus simple, l'extra vierge de base, arrête de te compliquer la vie!”. It was such a tiny interaction, but it reminded me of something really important: Marie is always there, even for the most ridiculously small things. And you know what? I strive to be that friend for the people in my life too.
